It’s amazing to see a community of developers form around voice interfaces. Once of the big (and delightful) surprises over the past two years has been Amazon’s support to companies who are looking to use Alexa in their products. They’ve been hiring community builders with very good listening skills and who have been paying close attention to market needs.
While it’s still early days for voice, these tools and communities are essential to keep the user experience improving. For Amazon, this helps them solidify their lead in the ambient voice space.
