Ahead of Apple’s imminent release today at WWDC of a speaker (any moment now), Amazon seems to be throwing down a few spike strips:
Amazon seems to take threats and competition very seriously and will play aggressively to keep its advantage in the voice market. Of course, these are just tactics to take some of the steam out of the other players.
To really remain ahead, Amazon will need to continue to develop innovative features as well as being the disruptor of itself.
