Loss of connectivity is very frustrating. My Echo Look lost connectivity a few days back and wasn’t able to recover its connection without a reset. I didn’t want to take a selfie but it was annoying to have to do this.
The hard reset seems to be a common fix for WiFi issues — reconnecting to a network even after the WiFi is re-established- but it shouldn’t be. We’re now well over a decade of WiFi becoming the norm for home Internet access. Why is the power cycle still the solution?
It seems like the next generation of WiFi modules will need to catch up with the new generation of WiFi routers to ensure that Internet access is has high availability.
