There’s More to Voice

Next week, I’ll be speaking at the AVIOS Conversational Interactionconference in San Jose about Multi-Factor Voice interaction. With voice first devices set to hit ubiquity in the next year or two (at least in the US), the race will be on to create new interesting interactions that bring together multiple inputs to inform the AI. These could include data from:

  • Your location history
  • Physical buttons
  • Emotion and mood
  • Temperature, air pressure, humidity, sound and light level
  • Whether other people are around
  • Vital data (blood pressure, heart rate, heart variability)
  • Interaction with other IoT devices

The result could be lights, robots and different voices providing responses back to us.
